The Choice         What if you had to make the choice between losing everything or being true to yourself?

The Choice explores the difficult struggle Mina Thomas, a nurse with a loving husband and a successful career, endures after meeting Regan Martin, an attractive new nurse she is assigned to mentor.

Long-buried desires are awakened within Mina, pushing her toward the need to finally make the choice that, in one way or another, will change her world.


Maria's Biography

Maria V. Ciletti is a registered nurse working as a medical administrator. She has written several medical practice management articles published in Ohio State Medical Association's Practice Essentials, Medical Economics Magazine and Family Practice Management Magazine.

Her fiction credits include: Three short stories that were published in anthologies by Alyson: "Summer the First Time, 1985," "Unexpected Pleasures," and "The Things You Do For Love." Another short story, "Jane Doe," was published in Bella Books anthology, Call of the Dark. Her short story, "Don't Sing: Growing up Lesbian in Catholic School," was just recently accepted by Haworth and is due to be published in their Queer and Catholic anthology, due out in July 2008.

The Choice, her first novel, published by Haworth Press, made its debut in May 2007. She is currently working on its sequel, Clinical Distance. Maria lives in Niles, Ohio, with her partner, Rose.
